Dr. Kathleen is a native of northeast South Dakota and is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Northwestern Health Sciences University. After graduation, she practiced, researched, and taught for two years with Dr. James Cox, one of the leading authorities in the world on the non-surgical treatment of disc herniations, sciatica and other challenging low back conditions.
As part of the community’s only husband and wife chiropractic team, she particularly enjoys treating children, women’s health issues including infertility, neck and back problems, and chronic health challenges.
She is one of just a several certified acupuncturists in the region. She is well known for providing lay lectures on a variety of topics including living a healthier, longer life, correction of spinal problems, and acupuncture.
Appointed by the Governor, she serves on the state’s chiropractic regulatory board, the South Dakota Board of Chiropractic Examiners. She is a member of the South Dakota Chiropractors Association and the American Chiropractic Association.
In her personal life, she is a busy mother and grandmother. She enjoys Bible study, cantering at church, gardening, and exercise.
